There was so much to do and take advantage of the activities but we only had a 1 night stay. Thinking about returning for an extended stay. Room was large and very clean. We controlled our own room temperature. It was very comfortable with 3 chairs and a desk. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Staff was very helpful.

Clean hotel room. Was arriving late, I did appreciate the front desk calling to check on my arrival time, due to them closing at 10 pm. I noticed bathroom had peeling drywall. Overpriced for condition of room.

The room needs to be updated. The heat did not work and there was a few dead flies in the shower and there was dirt in the shower as soon and the water was turned on. The hotel is in a very convenient location and easy to get to.

We go to Lancaster Pennsylvania every year in October. We stay at different hotels/motels each year. We are accustomed to the simplicity of the motel experience and we were really looking forward to staying at this particular motel. I think this one would have earned a five star rating under typical conditions. However, our experience there occurred as they were in the middle of a remodeling process, and I think that probably affected some of the experience. The beds were sufficient, nothing to write home about, and the room seemed fairly clean, though dated. The only real negative issue we had was with ants that showed up in the corner on the floor in the area outside the bathroom. We didn’t investigate the extent of them and we didn’t say anything to the management. It was our last night there when we discovered them and we were leaving early in the morning. Again, I think that may have been connected to the remodeling that was taking place. The location is amazing. And the convenience of parking right up at the door with your designated parking space is really great. That’s the benefit of the motel lodging. We’ve heard so much about Bird-in-Hand and was really looking forward to staying there. I wish I could’ve given it a five star rating because their reputation is very good.

The room was nice and clean but somewhat noisy at night because our room 144 was in back near highway. Staff was friendly and professional. The on-site construction due to earlier explosion and fire was somewhat inconvenient and an eye sore.

I have been coming here for 25 years. Sad to see the property going downhill. Bees nests, hole in the tub in my room, causing flooding, many things you would not ever see here in the past. Unfortunately it is no longer well kept. So sad as it was always one of my favorites.
