"A splendid step back into Galway’s past in this boutique hotel situated in a medieval townhouse steps from the bustle of Quay Street. Our tiny but cozy room was on the third floor — and please note, if you have any kind of mobility issue, this is NOT the lodging for you, looking out on Cross Street (with some attendant noise at night) — but the emphasis here is on “cozy”, because it was comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were uniformly lovely, the included Continental breakfast very good, and the location can’t be beat for its proximity to the pubs and restaurants of Quay Street and environs. We love Galway for its music and history, and 7 Cross Boutique Hotel puts you right in the center of everything and makes you feel at home. Parking is discounted at the Spanish Arch car park about a four minute walk away. We would gladly stay here again on a future trip, daunting stairs notwithstanding."
