"Rooms were adequate and clean but dated. Beautiful scenery in the park and very nice, small pool. Staff was friendly. Nice salad bar in the evening. Breakfast on a Monday morning was minimal, but free! Cute Nature Center near the lodge. Individuals with mobility issues might find staying here a challenge as the parking lot to the pool was inclined and there are lots of steps at the lodge."

"We had an amazing stay. The house was a nice quiet location. We loved having coffee and relaxing on the back porch. The house was well stocked with the essentials and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were cozy. Overall a fabulous spot and we were very happy. We will definitely return as we have children attending LMU. "We stayed 2 days at this hideaway cabin. Don’t let the driveway scare you away! This cabin is fantastic for a family vacation. It was just my boyfriend and I & We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity we had swinging on the porch swing. Hanging down by the river and relaxing before we made our way back home. Highly recommend"
