"Horrendous experience! Host should be struck off your listings. The first thing he said to us was ‘hotel finished’, meaning we weren’t welcome. We assumed it was because we didn’t check in within the hour timeframe given, even though we rung the host to explain beforehand. Plenty of room to roam
"We stayed at La Grand Metairie to celebrate a birthday and had a cracking time despite the changeable weather. The property has plenty of space for a bigger party and lots of activities to keep even the teens away from screens. Unlike a lot of properties, this one is very well equipped - you won’t run out of pots, pans and crockery! And even if you wish to cook the most obscure dishes, the equipment is there. The hosts were very welcoming and helped whenever we had a query. The location is remote, but the bakery was a short drive away and we made lovely day trips to nearby towns, Mont Saint-Michel and San Malo. Having good internet provided was crucial as mobile network was a bit patchy. All and all we had a delightful week in Fuegerolles-du-Plessis."
