"Only a 1 night business trip, so no time to make full use of the facilities. The staff however were excellent, especially Robin who was on reception when I arrived late in the evening to check in. My reservation had not been properly added to the system and so she was unable to check me in. We quickly established that I should have been booked in and although it took nearly 30 mins to resolve she ensured I was looked after, arranged a drink from the bar and ensured the issue was resolved. "Better than expected, the room was well appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with 3 choices of pillows. Unfortunately the mini fridge didn't work in my room, but that wasn't a major issue. I ate dinner in the Grand Pacific restaurant, the food was good but it's quite a loud environment on a Saturday evening. The staff were also (literally) running around the place at times which didn't give me the impression that things are well organised, or that there are enough staff to handle...

"Booked a 2 night stay partly due to attending a concert at the nearby First Direct Arena. The price of the room was almost double for the night of the concert even though we booked nearly 12 months prior to our stay. The room itself was small but very clean and comfortable. Cannot comment on the breakfast nor the adjacent Indian Restaurant. Reception staff were efficient, polite and friendly. Would be happy to stay here again."
