"The house was spacious and a perfect view of the bay. The April weather was perfect to stay at this house. You needed the heat when you got up and the rest of the day was perfect. This location allowed us to travel and see places like the Aran Islands, and shop. I would stay here again. "

"I was captivated by the photos and the description of this property when I was looking for a quiet country spot for us to return to the Wild Atlantic Coast for my Christmas-Birthday. "This place was mostly great! The spa was lovely, food was good, environment is pretty. The beds were comfortable and the features of the room all worked well. The two issues were the heat -- it was very warm even after I turned off the radiator -- and the noise. The walls are thin, and I could definitely hear the people nextdoor very easily. "We stayed at Nevins Inn for one night during our Wild Atlantic Way trip. We were accommodated in a delux room in the Lodge next to the main building. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very large and modern with a walk in shower. Toiletries,hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. We chose to eat our evening meal at the property and can highly recommend the food there. Breakfast was served at the inn and this too was very enjoyable with plenty of choice. The only downside to the stay was that the hot water supply to the shower seemed to have failed in the morning so I had to have a very lukewarm, almost cold shower. I overheard another guest saying the same at breakfast so obviously not just our room was affected. There is plenty of free on site parking at the property. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I can highly recommend a stay at Nevins Inn."

"What can I say about this hotel that hasn’t already been said? It was simply amazing. We took a break from our family heritage tour and headed north of Galway to stay at The Lodge at Ashford Castle—and I’m so glad we did. One of the highlights was the Hawk Walk, offered by Ireland’s School of Falconry right on the property. My husband loved it. The hotel offers other experiences as well, and there are 350 acres of trails to explore. They even provide a trail map so you can plan your route. The estate includes lakes and streams for fishing and boating, and the views from the Lodge are breathtaking. Although we stayed at the Lodge, which is a fraction of the cost of Ashford Castle, we were treated as full guests of the entire estate. We had access to everything the castle offers. The service was excellent—professional and warm. Paul at the Lodge handled everything from luggage to transportation around the estate, always with a smile. Clarissa at the front desk and Vorchek at breakfast were also wonderful. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were amazing. My only suggestion: consider adding a door between the kitchen and dining room to reduce noise. It was loud and we asked to be moved and we were accommodated. I'm so glad we were because the meal was a solid 10. Thank you to the chef and kitchen team. This hotel was a highlight of our trip.
