"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"This is an excellent VRBO. The apartment is on the ground floor. It is well stocked with everything one would need. The kitchen has a fancy coffee maker and plenty of plates and utensils. It even has a dishwasher. The bed is comfy. The apartment is outside the city center, but close to an s-bahn stop. The Cologne transit system is easy to navigate and quickly reach any spot in the city. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Der Pool zur Eigennutzung und die dazugehörige Außenlounge waren echt super! Allerdings sollte man im Haus selbst mehrere kleine Reparaturen vornehmen (Fenster lassen sich schlecht öffnen, Türen schleifen tlws. an den Böden). Die Dusche im Bad ist lebensgefährlich! Hier müssten Anti-Rutsch-Matten eingebracht werden! "

"We had an amazing time staying at the water tower for two nights! Such a quaint quiet neighborhood. The location was great for us to venture to Belgium one day and up to Cologne on the second. So many details to list - fresh eggs from the chickens who live on the property, a stunning garden and the most pleasant hosts."

"I appreciate the stay but the communication was not good at alla. I sent many requests without any answers. It's a pity. I requested a proper invoice instead of receipt but no satisfation. I sent online requests and even discussed with people at reception but no solution till today. I can't recommend this hôtel"

"Overall satisfactory. Communication was limited as the host was away on vacation. Description said there was a spa, never saw one. The floors are really squeaky. The combination bedroom living room was difficult for 4 adults needing 3 bedrooms."

"We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

Trendy, modern hotel in great location

"This hotel was in a great location close to the train station and one of the Christmas Markets, which was the purpose of our trip. It's also just a few doors down from a supermarket. Hotel was clean, breakfast (not included) was great, and lobby was spacious (hubby hung out here while waiting for me to wake up). Also had plenty of outdoor space, especially for a city hotel. Make sure to take in the view from the roof top deck! A few "negatives" had to do with the actual room. Our room was a little on the small size, even though we paid for an Extra Space room. Didn't like that there were only outlets and a nightstand on one side of the bed. I had to plug my electronics in on the desk which was across the room. Also, not a lot of places to put your stuff. There is a weird "closet" space with some shelves but not enough for 2 of us. I ended up clearing the desk off and putting my things there. Bathroom was fine although a little on the small side. The way the shower is the floor does get a little wet but we've stayed in hotels where that is much worse. Overall we were happy with the value and would stay again."

New Hotel to stay in

"This Hotel has two separate buildings. The ‘Boutique’ one is new and really good to stay in. Good internal entry security. Great showers and bathrooms. Breakfast is in the other building on the second floor and is nice. About 5 lm from Cologne HBF but that’s good because you are away from the crowds and trouble. There’s plenty of shops etc within an easy walk. Front reception staff lovely and helpful. Would stay here again. "
