"Lovely property. Helpful friendly staff. Good food. Easy parking. Lovely shower. Bed headboard a bit dusty but apart from that spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Room was a good size. Good range of hot drinks in room with decent sized cups and nice glasses. Lovely touch with personal welcome note and chocolates. "This is a beautiful old hotel with character and charm. Some of the areas need a little updating but it’s clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed several meals, including an excellent breakfast during our stay. "
