Lovely old hotel, and very comfortable - but note this does mean it doesn't have a lift, so you may want to request a room on the first floor if stairs are a difficulty. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Great location in the centre of Lewes (though remember Lewes is built on a hill, and it's at the top of the hill).

A lovely hotel beautiful decor and a lovely happy ambiance around the bar and dining areas. Very close to restaurants shops and easy access to getting about the area.

Excellent stay. I have stayed numerous times before prior to it being sold. I was however very disappointed that the car park is no longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic inn. It's been superbly and sympathetically renovated and is the perfect balance of new and old. Staff were excellent, friendly and professional. Basically faultless!

The White Hart has been beautifully refurbished with great attention to detail. Room was lovely, as was the bathroom, and the use of space in a very old building. Very comfortable. Would happily stay again.
