"We had an excellent lunchtime meal at the restaurant then went out for the rest of the day. Arrived back to our rooms around 11pm for the night. Some of the lights didn’t work and the bedroom and bathroom were somewhat dated and in need of refurbishment. The bed was very comfy though. No breakfast available but drink making facilities in the room. "

"I was happy for the parking and not only that, but the electric charging available. I came in a non-busy weekend I guess as there were lots of space. My room was enough for me. Wish it was near sea but not. Internet fine in room. I bet some can have problems getting in shower though as it was narrow. Place has bar and lots of lounges you can relax. Breakfast has lots of variety to choose, the server was a little grumpy and not that polite to me. Bar man and receptionist was fine."

A daily special in the breakfast would give the otherwise very good breakfast a special note and some variation, especially for guests staying for more than a week (like I did). Maybe kippers every third day or a different kind of cold sliced meat or cheese every third day or black pudding once or twice a week."
