"This was our 7th visit to The Old Bridge in Holmfirth. The staff are exceptional, all of them are extremely helpful, polite and professional, thank you all of you. Lovely breakfast as always. "Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also...

"Reasonable. Normally i would have said excellent but one or two things were not upto there usual standard . There was music noise from downstairs until late and the room i had was v dark but was attractive ( 13) . The food was ok but mine lacked vegetables and the fishcakes were dry."

"The weather was very bad, ice and snow. Log burners in hotel helped my mood on arrival. The hotel has good parking and the staff very helpful, evening meal very good and also breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom was well sized and all clean and comfortable. Cannot think of anything negative. Apart from the weather. Will stay there again next time I need a hotel in the area."
