"We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lovely enclosed back garden which is good if you have a dog. There are plenty of really good restaurants in walking distance, and a lot more if you want to drive there (Applecross Inn, Gille...

"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. "Our second stay at this lovely property was excellent. Blessed with amazing weather, we climbed many hills, conquered the In Pinn on Skye, and paddle boarded and swam in the beautiful Loch Duich. The house is excellent, very comfortable and well equipped. Many thanks!"

"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"

"Its just exactly as advertised. Four on-suite double bedrooms and another room that comfortably has a double bed. Spectacular views over the Loch, seen an otter one morning going about its business just by the shore next to the house. House very well equipped and clean, great showers and a bath in the downstairs double room. So much to see and do around the area, property is in a woodland with walks marked out.
