"Our overall impression of this cabin is excellent. The log cabin itself is extremely clean and extremely well maintained with all the comforts even better than my home. One piece of the cottage that we really enjoyed was the outdoor fireplace on the deck with the rocking chairs we sat by that each night. Our four-legged deer friends visited us as well. "My review is from a perspective of a frequent traveler, especially in large groups of adults and kids ranging from 10-14 where we often rent large houses or cabins. This property indicates it sleeps 16, not only would it honor that, but it also comfortably allows a large group (we had 13) to relax, enjoy each others company and spend some time playing games or eating a meal at one of the HUGE tables (one inside and one on deck). "We had the best experience in so long in hocking hills, this brand new property is a gem. Everything was in there, plenty of games, the in ground hot tub was great and super big. Im very excited to come back in summer time for the pool season, looked pretty big. The host was excellent as well, answered all the questions in a very short time. Thank you for making our stay awesome. "

"Cabin was great, they have all the essentials so it makes traveling and cooking easy. Only complaint was others left dog poop in the yard, that made cleaning up after our dogs hard. Dodging dog poop to try and clean up after yourself was annoying. But that’s a small issue, everything else was great and would definitely book here again."

"The cabin is nestled right off the road in the woods surrounded by gorgeous fall color. If you’re looking for a simple cabin with a cozy feel, this is it. It’s about 10 minutes from the main hiking center and 14 from the downtown with restaurants. There’s a convenience store not too far as well. The hot tub was perfect and the electric fireplace was a nice touch! The only thing I would recommend is a few hooks to hang stuff and shampoo/conditioner and body wash filled and working. "Took a friend for a mini vacation and we stayed in the wild rose cabin for a night. It was an amazing relaxing little get away. My only concern is the drive up the hill. We had no problems getting there in her jeep but my car would have never made it. To be honest we appreciated the remote stay just would have liked a heads up on the drive."

"Two of us stayed in chalet #11 for three nights in November. The chalet is charming, clean, and in good condition. Downstairs bedroom is a bit musty, but we stayed in the loft bedroom using the lower one as a closet. Loved the hot tub and fire place. Wi-fi is barely there. Just mentionning it so you don't count on it. Knowing all this, we would still stayed there again!"

"Only negative is the hot tub took 12+ hours to heat up (followed listers specific instructions upon arrival to heat properly) which caused it to be unusable the first night of our two day trip and this was something we were looking forward to most about the location. Otherwise great place to stay! "
