Staff is fantastic. They let me check in early after an overseas flight. Location is perfect for theatre and walking kits about anywhere. Rooms are small. Supposedly I was supposed to get a room upgrade but maybe the early check in replaced that. I’ll be back.

Our room was particularly shabby and has seen better days as had the bathroom. We were at the back of the hotel so before 7am we had staff arriving, bins being emptied and only secondary glazing. The Restaurant area was lovely as was the food. The restaurant staff were very attentive.For the money we spent for our special weekend we were disappointed.

The property is in a great location and the staff are brilliant. I think the property itself needs a bit of a facelift, though. It is all a little dated. My room had obvious signs of previous water damage in the bedroom on the walls and curtains but nothing had been done to repair the decor to hide it once it had been fixed. Similarly, the bathroom fittings were dated, rusted, and had been repaired so many times that it just didn't feel as clean as it should. I cannot fault the staff - and breakfast is great too.
