Welcome to this Sweet Sanctuary overlooking water, islands, eagles, and a ferry or two.

While outside is magical, inside is furnished to perfection for upscale comfort and function. You will feel well cared for here, in your island sanctuary.

It sits above the waterfront for lovely water views. A sizeable deck wraps the house on the waterside where you can enjoy a BBQ evening.

On a misty night, you may choose to stay indoors, gathered around the glow of a wood burning stove. After conversation and contemplation, sit back and enjoy the cable television, provided in the living room. WIFI internet is also available.

Meal preparation is a joy in this kitchen equipped with an island, maple cabinets, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. Slate and tile are widely used, including in the attractive bathroom where the radiant heated floors will keep your toes warm.

At the end of the day, there's a comfortable king-size bed in the upper-level master bedroom with amazing views. A second bedroom contains a queen bed and there are two twin beds in the third. The home is built on a high-bank waterfront and the beach below is a private beach for the Sunrise Community, and available for you to enjoy.

Recently remodeled, it is wonderfully fresh and new.

We enjoyed our stay but have a few comments. The photos don't show that there are other houses/ occupied lots on either side of the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The wood supply wasn't as shown in the photos.

this is a great place to stay winter or summer. Indoors is cozy and well-equipped, with great views and access to beach and nearby walks. Loved the fireplace, loved the view, loved stargazing on the deck, the little walk way to get closer to the water (though a bit steep and slippery), loved that each bedroom faced the water, loved cooking in kitchen. So much convenience and comfort. Really appreciated all the attention to detail. Before we arrived, Matt setup the small christmas tree and lights as well as got the fireplace ready to light. We got to meet him as we arrived and he had so many recommendations of places to go and see. It was a real joy to spend the time there and made working remote for part of the visit worthwhile to take breaks in between to admire the view and listen to the water.

The view was absolutely amazing! Everywhere in the house had the had perfect views. Just sitting on the deck watching the eagles was amazing! The driveway way a little hard to maneuver with our truck, but we made it! It is not very wide. We had a relaxing and great time at the house.

The views; water, islands, ferries, eagles. The hikes; Iceberg Point, Shark Reef, the Spit and the southeast point (can’t remember the name). The cabin is cozy and well equipped. This was our 4th visit and we never get tired of it. Love the place!

We planned a short winter get away to this quaint comfy cabin The host was most helpful and gracious. We loved settling down around to wood burning stove and relaxing and playing games around the dinning table. I just wished we had more time to do some crabbing nearby.

I had an amazing time in Lopez Island and this house was a big part of that. It had great views of the water. I cooked a lot and never missed a beat in the kitchen, as it had everything I needed. It is also a great place to just escape the fast pace life and get some reading or writing done. It was so cozy. I will be looking forward to my next stay!
