"For a one night stay, my friends and family had a good time. Bed was comfortable, and we loved the scenic garden. We had the two bedroom privacy room and it was nice. Bathroom water takes a while for it to warm up. WiFi was fast and efficient. The owner is extremely kind and caring! Please just be open minded and communicative and respectful with him. Thank you!"

"This place was a found gem. It's family-run and has everything I needed. Located in South Pasadena and close to the 110 Freeway, it's easy to access Downtown LA, Pasadena, or to pick up the 10 Freeway and head toward the beach/SantaMonica."

"I stayed two nights and would stay again. It is a nice BnB; Pat is super friendly and helpful. Broadway is a fairly busy street, so it’s best to close windows at night for noise. But once I did that it was totally quiet enough. I stayed in mid October and was quite fine not having air conditioning. I’m not a big fan of Long Beach in general, but discovered 4th St on my last day which changed everything - very cool strip of independent shops and eateries. Lunch at El Barrio Cantina was...

"This was a great find! Clean, cute, and comfortable room, and the hosts thought of everything in regards to the kitchenette! We had the King Suite, which was the perfect size for two of us. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was great, and the hosts were very welcoming. There are a million dining options close by, and we chose to Uber or drive (5 minutes) versus walking (15 - 20 minutes). The neighborhood was very quiet and it was easy to find parking. We definitely look forward to returning! "

"Clean and cozy! As a woman traveling alone I felt safe and comfortable here. The space looked exactly like the pictures. Host provided a key to the inside space so you can lock the door leading into the suite when you’re gone. Host was very quick to respond to my messages. The bed was firm and comfortable (I have lower back pain and I felt better than I do at home!) There is poor cell reception but the WiFi was fast and worked great. "Overall impression of the apartment and location was positive. Close to grocery stores, food is walkable nearby, and it was great to have parking. Directions to and thru the parking garage by the host was spot on. Enjoyed the pool 2 evenings after long walking days of LA tourists. Very easy access to highways. My 4 star rating is based on the fact that the apartment was sparsely furnished. 1 mostly uncomfortable couch, and a table with 4 chairs and that is it for seating. Would be well...

"Overall, this was a great experience. The location is directly across the street from the beach and has a view of the pier. It's in a recently renovated building that was quiet and relaxing. Walking to the Promenade, movie theatre, numerous stores, etc was great. The actual apartment is pretty great, too, and we really liked all the "extras" provided by the host, such as an Uno game, Jenga game, chairs/towels for the beach, water bottles/sodas, and so on. "Very easy process and a fun little get away if you want something different than the hotels. Great location for walking to restaurants & shopping. Great views too! Boat is a bit dated and could use a little TLC in some areas but affordable for staying on a boat. Nothing that would keep me from coming back. Having the breakfast basket was great and yummy! There were 4 adults and very comfortable."

"Staff was amazing. Super helpful and friendly. The DTLA Area isn’t too “Pretty” but felt safe walking the streets in the surrounding area late at night. There’s a few places to eat and a ton more about 5-10 blocks away. So if you’re searching for food just do your homework. Other than that i would return. Great price "

"The property itself was lovely and well equipped the area is Venus beach but the dining opportunities were a distance away and the choices limited. The smell of cannibas was very strong when walking outside during the day and night. For visitors not used to this is was extreme. "

"I have stayed in this area at several hotels for family reasons in the past two months. Kasa Sunset Los Angeles was by far the best value of the places I went to - the most spacious, comfortable and livable. They have free and fast secure wifi which is a big plus. They are available 24/7. The space was very clean and well cared for. I would definitely come back if the need arose. "

"Beautiful property and amazing location unfortunately the room had a few minor technical issues the AC rattled, missing base in a few areas and the shower pan seemed too low for the flow of the water, we were constantly concerned with overflow or flooding while showering. Other than that this location was super convenient for the purpose of our visit which was to visit the theme park. A complementary shuttle picks and drops you off every 10-15 minutes it leaves you right at City walk. We will definitely stay here again! "
