I stayed at the Rumi Hostel for two nights and I loved the atmosphere and how comfortable the bedroom and living room were, as well as the convenience of the complimentary breakfast. It was great value and worth the stay. The metro stop was also close by as well as good visiting sites. I would definitely like to come back here again whenever I visit LA next time!

A lot and I do mean a lot of rules. Very uptight. Felt more strict than a college dorm. Had to purchase your own towels. Rules should be upfront.

They use IHA residency rules so you shouldn’t be American. Fine for a bed & a little more than shelter & toilet. Wouldn’t recommend for more than barebones needs. You get what you pay for!

It's a small facility, but it's a perfect spot for traveling solo, I stayed to attend a concert nearby. There are a lot of plants in the outdoor area which makes it feel like an oasis in contrast to the usual LA smog. Kitchen is well equipped, quite clean, overall a great value. Highly recommended.

Good hostel is Los Angeles!

Reception's girls are friendly and polite. Good kitchen and delicious free breakfast. Room and bathrooms were clean, but my bed was very unconfortable. Location is great, close to the shops, restaurants, supermarket and Wishire Western Metro Station, which is only three stations to Downtown Los Angeles.

I've known about the Rumi for years but this was my first time staying. I'm glad I did. You can't beat the location if you need something in central Los Angeles or Koreatown. The facilities and property was clean and quirky. Easy access to public transportation/metro. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hostel in Koreantown!

Excellent hostel in Koreantown close to Wilshire Western Station and Downtown Los Angeles. Staff friendly, kind and polite. Good free breakfast and Wi-fi signal. Good kitchen and clean bathrooms/rooms. Unfortunately, the unique problem... some guests that don't respect the rules and make much noise in the room, but it not depends on the property. Many thanks girls for my time at Rumi Hostel!

Honestly it’s great if you’re stopping by and quick in and out. The bathrooms are a bit aged and so is the property but it gets the job done. I thought the breakfasts were going to be premade but you have to make them yourself. No real issues the staff were super friendly and nice!
