"Very good hotel and staff, let down by attention to detail. TV system needed the channel list updating and fixing - BBC1 was on channel 2 and named "BBC 2" and vice versa. Neither channel presented EPG information. Other channels were out-dated. No directions to restaurant/bar/breakfast - you had to know the name of the restaurant/bar to be able to find them - and "50 The Street" isn't obvious! "1 night business stay. Plenty of parking, friendly check-in, clean room. We booked a twin room and the bed was tiny. Evening restaurant was not open but other places to eat were only a short walk away. Cooked breakfast was ok. Will stay there again!"

"Kettle didn’t,t work and no t.v remote so as I was going out I mentioned it to the receptionist who asked if it was o.k. To enter room and rectify the 2 problems and was never done!"

"Wonderful little independent hotel handy for our trip to Leicester. Booked two rooms - both comfortable and fine. Room 7 however had a large extractor fan right outside the window and was a little noisy. Only fault in an otherwise excellent stay with a fantastic optional breakfast. "Very friendly Italian restaurant with rooms. The room was comfortable and a good size, but was adjacent to the toilets the restaurant guests used. I came out of my room a couple of times just as men were coming out the gents which was a bit off putting. The room was clean and comfortable if a tiny bit dated. "The hotel was modern and clean. The beds were really comfortable and the room was clean. However, the coffee mug was not clean, still had evidence of a ring where cold coffee from a previous customer was still visible. The restaurant was good and the staff very attentive. The menu was a little disappointing in that it was a snack menu with not a great deal of choice. However the food was well cooked and nicely presented. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were helpful and professional."
