"We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!"

The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. "Service was generally very slow. It felt understaffed and disorganised. Prosecco to the room was forgotten, dinner service was very slow, breakfast was disorganised. I paid extra for breakfast but could have just walked in without being checked. The staff struggled to cope with replenishing the food. They didn’t have much chance!"
