We had a one night stay at this quaint hotel. It is lovely and walking distance to Central Lucca for shopping and dining. The staff was great and the hotel is charming. They welcomed us with snacks and drinks while we waited for check-in.

The hotel is quaint and offers a quiet respite from the tourists. My room was ample but the shower is quite small. The breakfast is yummy and the outside seating area offers a marvelous opportunity to have a cocktail and chat with friends.

Great property! Fantastic location and rooms were clean and spacious. Staff is also amazing here - they are not only very helpful but so kind - my mom has dietary/health restrictions so she wanted to heat up her own food and they were so accommodating. This is a little gem of a hotel in a quiet lane, very close to everything. We did find the people working in our building to be quite loud early in the morning. Also, passers by in the alley late at night were loud too. Other than that, it was a lovely stay. The beds are comfortable lots of space.

Everything was great! Except our room was in the building next door and you had to unlock the lock all of these: the front door to get in, the next door going up to the room, then the door to the room. Room door did not lock on its own. Key was needed to lock it from the inside. There are only two room in that building. Rooms in the main hotel next probably are not like that.

Tucked in side road, QUIET! Repairs on street immediately outside, not in control of hotel. Loved the hand-drawn map, but needed more clear landmarks such as street names in immediate area. Coffee during week was cold and bad-not expected in Italy, however, we were in dining room the last hour of breakfast. Very helpful staff. Easy access from train station.
