"Nice staff, pleasant breakfast, and seeing the aurora borealis while lying in bed is an incredible experience. But it still can't quite justify the price. Quite a few short black hairs on the pillow (neither my wife, nor I have black hair) and if you don't get an igloo at the edge of the property, the light pollution is probably too bad to see much. A shame that a hotel that advertises seeing the northern lights doesn't at least dim the outdoor lights after 10pm (or put them on a movement...

"We loved staying here in one of the log cabins! Very accommodating staff with lots of facilities. Restaurants and breakfast were wonderful and loved exploring the surrounding area. Only downsides would be the spa area - water very cold small pool more ideal for children than adults. Also the hotel charges entry for music / club nights which is discouraging. "

"Our two bedroom appartement was perfect for our family of 5. Well appointed and cleverly designed. The beds were confortable, the kitchen partical ans there was just enough storage for us. "They sent two street addresses so it was confusing where I was supposed to go, they didn’t include a letter before the number so I couldn’t find the right building, they didn’t provide parking instructions so I parked in the wrong spot and get yelled at in a note by the right parker telling me to move my car, and on night two, my front door was opened after midnight by new tenants looking for their room. I’m don’t know if I’ll get any sleep now. "

"Beautiful place, but bit of a tourist scam. As the hotel opened a few days before our coming, some things were missing : a rack for the jackets and shoes... The heater is hard to set and is noisy. However, the staff is lovely and always ready to help. It also misses an electric plug for cars."
