"The staff was friendly and courteous, it was conveniently located for seeing the Luther related sites in Wittenberg, and breakfast was quite good. But, the hotel/room decor is quite tired and needs updating in almost all areas. The towels were worn and frayed as was the carpeting on the stairs. The shower/tub is quite high and a bit of a challenge for older travelers. In our opinion, not deserving of the 8.7 Expedia rating. "
