"We enjoyed our stay. You can tell the property is very old but renovated. All the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The price point to stay there is pricy and should be cheaper in my opinion. Unless you get a taxi (horse and carriage) prepare to walk a lot. The hotel sits on a large hill. We will probably stay here again if we can find a bargain. "

"It's a nice property in a heavily visited tourist area. Therefore and at least how we found it, it was pretty busy. They should probably have two elevators, just to handle the traffic during busier times of the day. Our room was comfortable, clean and relatively quiet, everything you would expect from a room in this price range. The dining area was cramped and too small to accommodate the morning breakfast crowds. All in all I would stay there again if and when I visit the Mackinaw City...
