Beautifully positioned on the edge of Little Pea Porridge Pond with serene views of the water through the trees, this waterfront house is the New Hampshire retreat you've been searching for. Breathe in the fresh air outside on the wrap-around deck at sunrise, head down the staircase to reach the dock, and launch one of the three provided kayaks for a quiet morning paddle on the pond. You'll come home to a fully renovated living space, where you can whip up a homemade breakfast in the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, linger around the dining room table with a hot mug of coffee, and use the free WiFi to read the paper in the warmth of the stone fireplace. Enjoy easy access to nearby beaches on the pond, central AC for warm summer days and nights, and a seasonal firepit beneath the trees where you can roast s'mores with a view of the water. After an evening of movies on the large smart TV in the living room, you can retire to one of the comfortable bedrooms.
This lakefront home is located on the western shores of Little Pea Porridge Pond, with easy access to five sandy association beaches in the immediate area, including Boulder Beach less than a quarter-mile down the road. When you're not exploring Little, Middle, and the largest Pea Porridge Pond by kayak, you'll be less than five miles south of downtown Conway, where you can meet up with the iconic Kancamagus Highway for a spectacular foliage drive in autumn. If you're visiting in winter, you'll have your choice of nearby ski slopes, including King Pine (eight miles south), Cranmore (11 miles north), and Attitash (18 miles northwest). You'll also be a few minutes' drive from the Conway Scenic Railroad and a wealth of tax-free outlet shopping in Conway and North Conway.
Things to Know
Two single kayaks, one double kayak, and life vests for four people are provided.
This home is in a family-friendly neighborhood, with a Good Neighborhood Policy and quiet hours. Excessive partying will not be tolerated. Any violations (including those of maximum occupancy) can result in immediate eviction without a refund.
