"Lovely resort. Comfy room. Some strange interactions with the valet upon arrival. They were confrontational and laughed at my husband when he asked a question. Overall, I don’t think the staff was very happy as we had few positive interactions. Very pretty grounds. Loved the tranquil pool. "

"The only thing that was the consensus of every family, including ours, is that for the nightly rate, pool and beach chairs should be guaranteed. My guess is that they have enough pool chairs for about 30% of the rooms, faaaar too low and we saw it causing some serious anger and jockeying for pool chairs in a line 20 minutes before the pool opened. We opted to stay out of that nightmare and rent chairs from a private vendor on the beach. The resorts beach chairs must be paid for and sell out days...

"Loved the pools and dining options however they were understaffed at the restaurants so we had to wait for a long time for drinks, food and our check with two sleepy babies. Our room was also kind of far from the lobby, again with two kids not easy to navigate with stroller and beach bags but we made it work just lots of walking. "

"The property in general was quite nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no onsite restaurant for dinner or a full regular bar. There is a nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch but only open till 6 (sometimes only till 2). There is a pool bar but what you’d expect for a pool bar, not for a nice dinner and a cocktail. "The property location was exactly what we wanted, easy access to the Wailea beachfront walking path and directly on the beach. We had a great time but if you are considering this place you need to go in with your eyes wide open. It was very pricey for how tired this unit is. It badly needs a full renovation. The tile is from the 1980's, the carpet is gross and crunchy. When we arrived late, it appeared someone had tried to break in the sliding doors and that set off numerous R&M emails...

Very Best Deluxe Ocean View...Panoramic View....First Class!!

Beautiful home!

"My family of six adults and one toddler spent a week at this property and it more than met our expectations! First of all, each bedroom is large and has an ensuite bathroom, in addition to a half bath off the living area. Everyone had plenty of space and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen set-up was fantastic. We have stayed in many homes while traveling and have never experienced such a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We appreciated having a laundry room with a full size washer/dryer, especially after being at the beach and pool all day. The best part of the place is the large panoramic ocean view lanai with sofa lounging area and large dining table and grill. We spent lovely mornings enjoying our coffee and breakfast overlooking the ocean, and loved our evenings together outside watching the sunsets.Location-wise, it’s an easy walk to the pool, and a bit more of a schlep to the beach, but a fold-up beach wagon made it easy to carry chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards (all included at the home), so not a problem. It’s also an easy walk to restaurants and shops in Wailea. Hope, from the Wailea company, was our contact while on Maui, and she was super helpful with any questions we had. The customer service and care she showed was above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again. "
