"LOVED this resort! Stayed in a beachfront bure and it was beautiful - very spacious, clean, comfortable bed, and just steps from the beach with a beautiful view. Staff were super friendly and helpful, singers in the lounge and live band at the island bar were fantastic. Loved the casual, relaxed, island vibes. Loved having the grocery store on site too. If you are a reader though, need to bring your own books as there is no library, only books for sale. The only thing that we were missing was wifi in the room, had to go to the restaurants or lobby to get wifi. For us Canadians, it was very hot/humid, but being oceanfront we had a decent breeze. Had we had a room that was more inland it might have been too hot to sit outside. But air conditioning in the room was good. Would absolutely love to stay here again!"

"Staying at the Sofitel was a luxury; the rooms were modern, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and very comfortable, with ocean views. The pool area was beautiful, with lots of seating. I don't have young children, but the kids club and daily activities on offer were impressive, and all the children and parents looked happy. The beachfront also had cabanas and deck chairs on offer, but you did have to get there early to secure a spot. Bar/restaurant on the beachfront had great drinks/meals all day and nightly entertainment. There are quality restaurants to choose from casual to fine dining, and the buffet breakfast was amazing you won't be disappointed. Port Denarau is a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute ride on the Bula Bus, and there, you will also find many well-priced restaurants to choose from. All staff and customer service were impeccable - organized, kind, and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The Sofitel welcomes you with open arms, and you instantly feel at home it was sad to say goodbye. Thank you for a wonderful week "

"Super lovely staff. Lots of good activities and things to do and learn. Would be nice to have one pool designated for adults only. Very aware this is a family friendly resort but not all guests are families so one area that was child-free would be lovely "

"The Nakelo Resort was absolutely fantastic and surprised us with so many things to do. From going on a daily boat trip to feed the fish and snorkel, to daily activities like cocktail making and feeding turtles to mini golf and tepanyaki it was the perfect place to stay with little ones. We had an amazing time and all the staff were super friendly and hospitable"
