"Great hotel for hipsters. Very vintage and cozy with very friendly owner/operator. Service was excellent with coffee tea muffins. Room was old, but the sheets were clean. Cable TV was great WiFi too, but a little slow to stream. The bathrooms were clean, but looked like there had been a previous leak. We were short on towels, but were offered a room upgrade last minute to accommodate our child, so maybe it wasn’t stocked. Owner was so friendly I’m sure she would have provided anything she could....

"We picked this cabin due to its location to Lake Placid and specifically The Almanzo Wilder Homestead. It was very easy to get to both places and provided a cozy place to hang out and rest our heads when not sight seeing. The front porch provided a lovely hang out spot during the unfortunate rain when we weren't able to have a fire. I would strongly suggest this cabin to anyone, especially if you have a love for being outdoors rain or shine. "

"The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. We especially loved the fishing kayaks. The host was fantastic to work with on all levels. Provided great info, very helpful and responded very quickly. Would highly recommend this property."
