I would highly recoment Papo's house for longer stay, especially for families and couples, since the beach is within 5 min walk distance. "This house is is peaceful! It was just one night but the owner helped me getting drivers and exchanging money. The room has a little kitchen area with a table, sink, and a small fridge. Good to eat your take out and keep drinks cold, not sure if there is a cooking option. You have your own independent entrance. You can sit outside in the patio and balcony of the house and relax with the ocean breeze. Just walking from the beach and good restaurants. "

"This casa is operated by Terry and her husband Pedro. It is two blocks away from the beach, and it is one block away from the main street in Varadero. What sets this casa apart from others is Terry. She works very hard to keep her guests happy. She makes the best coffee and milk, to be enjoyed in her beautiful shaded garden. It is not in varadero it is 7 k away in Santa Marta, it’s position on the map is inaccurate. We arrived and left immediately- our driver took us the 7 extra k to the place we actually wanted to be. He spoke to the owner who said it wasn’t his fault if agencies made things up. There is nothing much in Santa Marta. Very bad mis representation. I will be contacting Expedia...
