"We loved the little bungalow we stayed in for one night. We booked it because it was close to the Porto airport and perfect for a short stay. The bonus was how close to the Ocean it was and the great caliber of the restaurants on the shore. The only difficult part was check-in. The receptionist was surly and ignored us for 25 minutes, without acknowledgng us at the front desk, while she was on a phone call. Cute spot and very convenient."

"All (but one) of the reception and cleaning staff were very friendly and very helpful - answering questions, helping with restaurant bookings, advice on getting around. The location was very good, some nice reasonably priced eating places nearby, close to supermarkets and also the big touristy market too (plus the metro). "The location was great, and facilities were great -- if they were fully functional, but I had some difficulty. Fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster and espresso maker. Nicely laid out bathroom; lots of room and a table to eat at. The espresso machine was very difficult to work. Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't and there were no instructions The A/C would not stay set to the temp I set it to. At least 2x each night I would have to get up and reset it as it was getting hot in the...
