"What a terrible experience. The property requires an access code to enter the rooms and I didn't receive the access code for my first night. I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer. I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...

"The location is great and in the downtown of Porto . Communication before and after check in were great. We stayed in Appartment no 6 which is facing demolished building and small street . Please note there is no Air Condition in the apartment. Our appointment was facing south so sun direct all day long which is really great if there is an AC . Without the AC the temperature inside the apartment was near 30C in the 3rd week in Sep so not sure how about mid of summer. We had to open the doors to...

"This walk-up studio apartment was in the heart of Porto walkable to all major sites. It was an authentic experience of old Porto and I found the people very friendly and helpful in the neighborhood."

"The property is in a great location however, be aware that it is night club area so very noisy throughout the night into early hours. Generally communication very very good would just advise to be clear on facility to leave luggage for late check out as wouldn’t expect to have to walk a good 20-25 mins walk to the office to drop off there.
