"We had a delightful stay at the hotel. Each and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The facilities are good and the hotel is beautiful and really well maintained. The cost reflects the high standards. There is a pleasant outdoor area and rooftop bar. The Vedado area is far less intense than La Havana Vieja and the hotel is certainly a walkable distance from many of the interesting sights, though in the searing heat, we'd advise a taxi to La Havana Vieja."

"Lovely hot shower and the only place I stayed that didn't experience a power cut! So the air-conditioning worked and the room was nice and cool. The owner looked after my case and let me wait in reception for a couple of hours for my taxi to the airport. Only downside was rather a lot of mosquitoes and midges in the room, but they were everywhere in Cuba. I got bitten when I don't normally and ran out of spray (so bring plenty)."
