"The property is lovely, it is a beautiful old building with high ceilings and lots of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were two main areas that have impacted our rating of the hotel. The first is the arrangements for using the pool at the owners other venue, Xara Lodge. The pool is not always available as the venue is used for events such as weddings and therefore was closed on two full days and closed early on another two days during our stay and we also had to...
