Was like home, safe and quiet. Stayed 6 nights for the AO Tennis. Had adequate kitchenette stuff. Aircon, TV, water system, lighting all in good working condition. Comfy bed, towels and toiletries provided including extras in cupboard. Easy access to trams to go anywhere. Reception staff was very accommodating. Nothing to fault. Will stay again if we need to be in Melbourne. THANK YOU!!!

Pefectly located for my needs. Close to transport options and walking distance to great shopping and dining. The staff were friendly and the room quite spacious with a nice firm matress giving me a great night sleep. The buidings are quite old which is part of the charm, but despite the general cleanliness of my room I couldn't help notice the old, stained curtains and the cobwebs in parts of the room. There was also a dirty can (clearly used as an ashtray) on the balcony to the room. I still enjoyed my night here and would certainly book again.

We were only in Melbourne for 4 days so were looking for reasonably price stay in Fitzroy. Would normally stay at a higher priced place but location was a factor also. So expectations were met for the most part. A couple of things noted: 1) We had booked a service apartment looking for cooking facilities and hadn't really looked at all the details so were a little surprised to find only a microwave oven and no cooker. We coped... 2) There was only 2 sachets of dishwasher liquid and it wasn't replenished. There was also no kitchen cloth or brush.. this kind of limited our ability to buy something to bring back to the apartment to eat.. again not a big deal and we coped (and if it was we would have asked at reception) but it should be checked by room staff. Having said that, we got what we needed, place is tidy and excellent value.. Thanks for the stay. Tony

While I enjoyed my stay of 4 nights. My bedding was not changed once, towels not changed everyday. 1 coffee cup. However it was a very safe and convenient location to walk to the hospital.

The property is conveniently located, close to the CBD and the commercial streets in Fitzroy. The room was clean, but was a bit worn. The room was not expensive, so condition was anticipated the price. Self parking is $25 under the building.

Rooms were tidy but tilled floor areas and curtains were filthy. Area relatively quiet but can hear other hotel patrons. Cooker hob didn’t work so couldn’t use until found some matches or gas lighter which took 3 requests. Pool was good but with the wind attracted lots of debris. Tram stations close by to city centre but not far to walk either. Fitzroy pretty run down. Hotel staff pleasant.
