"We had a lovely time. Torno is an idyllic little village with great food. The villa has stunning views of the lake and provides all necessary comforts. You can walk up into the hills from the villa and reach Como and around the lake easily by boat or bus."

"We very rarely pay and upcharge for a room with a view since we generally just use our hotel room for sleeping. We are so glad we paid for a view. Our room looked out onto Lake Como with the Alps as a backdrop. Spectacular. The hotel is a short 10 minute drive down the hills to Bellagio. If you don't have a car they have a shuttle van that will take you back and forth. The rooms are very comfy and since we visited in February, the heated tile floors were a welcome amenity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on site that offers a buffet breakfast and dinner. The breakfast offerings are varied and the dinners we had were exceptional. We were only in the room for two nights but it was so relaxing and peaceful it felt like a week. "

"Lovely hotel with a great restaurant. I would advise you to prebook dinner as it is very popular. We had to leave before breakfast however the hotel gave us a packed meal which was excellent. Family room was very large ."
