"Great location to explore the Peaks and views from the village are breathtaking. Three local pubs but didn’t serve the food and unfortunately the fish and chip shot is closed until early January so we had to buy some food from the CooP. Parking is tricky unless you have a really small car but we’ve managed to park not far from the property and we could walk to places locally. The cottage has all you’d need for a few days stay and any questions we’ve had were quickly responded to by the owner...

"Great for our party of 13 as there was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment ,plates and glasses etc. Some of the rooms and areas look a bit tired and could do with an upgrade (stair carpets, walls painting and floors could be cleaner downstairs) but bathrooms clean and beds comfy. it’s also great to have the farm shop and the pub next door is great - very friendly and helpful and lovely pub meal and service."

"Stayed here on new years eve wanted somewhere close enough that was in walking distance to pubs but quiet enough this was perfect the room was nice and big and there was plenty of furniture and plenty of space had a sofa and an enormous bed that was prob the most comfortable bed ive slept on brilliant stay will be back "

"Room was cramped for a family of 3 room but you get what you pay for , but did what we needed it to do , it was very clean , had tv and nice size shower. Went for food down stairs and the pizza was amazing the satff were polite , helpful and friendly . Down side is the parking is quite a bit away if youve got alot of luggage and maybe disabled. However you do get discount on the parking for 24 hours we paid £10 for the parking ."
