"Just spent a week at The School House and loved it. Everything you need is there in this comfy cosy wee house, which was scrupulously clean with Covid 19 in mind.
High Force is nearby and Eggleston Hall Gardens too. If you like cheese, try Teesdale Cheese Company near Copley for a wide range of cheese made on the farm and other local produce like pickles, chutneys, jams etc.
I hope I can come back to the School House again

"Cute little cottage in a quiet little town, down a little side street away from the main road, suited our needs.
We stayed n December so the cottage although small took a fair time to warm up , underfloor heating downstairs was nice but the fire needed to be on aswell to heat the cottage toa decent temp. I thought the heaters upstairs were too small to heat both the bedroom and the bathroom.
Dogs are allowed in the property but not allowed on furniture, nice touch was a little basket with...
