Midleton Hotel Guide - Family Friendly Hotels in Midleton, County Cork

"Was there for a gig taking place at the virgin media park. The hotel is right by the bus stop to from the airport which was about a 20 minute ride from, cost of about 1.50e one way. The bus station and other stops was also literally 5 minute walk from the hotel. The venue itself also a 10 minute bus ride. Walkable from Oliver Plunkett street and the main streets for shopping/pubs etc. I’d contacted the hotel beforehand to see if the pool and other facilities would be accessible before and after checkout as we had early and late flights, and they promptly responded advising they were though we didn’t end up using them. The hotel kept our bags all day before checking in and all day after checking out. Staff were all really friendly and welcoming and helpful. The room was a deluxe double bed and single bed absolutely ideal for 2 friends to share or for couples or a family for an over night or as a base. Would stay again. No problems "

"Best breakfast so far on our tour of Ireland. Staff are wonderful. Special mention to Victoria on Reception. So pleasant to deal with, so helpful. Also Cian (concierge?) and Saran in the breakfast restaurant. Lovely hotel. Will definitely stay again. Wonderful location. "

"The grounds and setting are amazing. Our dinner server was a little up tight and did not help us enjoy the evening as much as we had hoped. We had a big dinner with drinks, a bottle of wine etc. He seemed overly concerned about ordering the food before kitchen closed. "

"Amazing! Location is convenient — flat and short walk to city centre. Front desk and restaurant were amazing. Complimentary water was much appreciated. Housekeeping and turn down service was good too, save for one incident when the spoons in the room were simply wiped and instead of replaced — we could tell because although the cups and spoons seemed new, there was dried up food on the spoons, food that we ate earlier. That said, the error of one person shouldn’t reflect the rating on the otherwise amazing service of everyone. "
