"This was our third visit and we lovely everything about the resort - pool area, apartment etc. The only issue we had was the lack of air conditioning on the apartment. This was the hottest time of year we had visited and the ceiling fan was just not sufficient to make sleeping comfortable. But we would come again but not during peak season. "

"Great hotel, the apartments are huge and the location was convenient for us as we had business close by. Neighbourhood is mostly residential with a shopping/restaurant/bar street 2 minutes walk away. Nice gaming room, the gym could be more fleshed out, but all-in-all a good experience. Free parking which was nice, friendly staff, but missed having the option of a hotel breakfast. Then again the apartments are equipped with a full kitchen so no biggie."

"Cannot find fault with anything with our stay here. Location is perfect, you wouldn’t need a car as you can walk to restaurants, and to the supermarket (across the footbridge). There is direct beach access through a gate at the pool area - so very easy to have a quick swim then back to the sun loungers in the complex garden. The complex itself is immaculately kept and security excellent - key fob to get in and out. And the apartment itself - fabulous. Finishes are a high standard, everything...

"We wanted a two night stay in La Cala de Mijas and we knew the location of the Carmen Hotel. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags and the gentleman on reception was very friendly and said we could check in at the same time and our room would be ready a little later which was fine. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast both mornings which were cooked on request and was very tasty. Would certainly recommend to
