Attached to the owners' home, our suite was super comfortable, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with antiques and the owner's artwork. Situated walking-distance to the charming downtown of Milton which offers dining, antiquing, live theater, hiking trails, etc. this home offered us a very satisfying getaway.

We LOVE the Charleston of Milton Inn. It is beautiful and comfortable and Richard is a wonderful host! We have stayed here twice and both stays have been perfect! The suite is beautiful and the gardens are lovely. And Milton is a sweet little town with lots to do, and close to the beach.

Richard was very welcoming, helpful and kind and the place was impeccable! Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed being just steps from great restaurants and we were pleasantly surprised by the charm of Milton. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This was our third year staying at the Charleston in Milton, and exactly like our previous two times, our stay was PERFECT! Accommodations are lovely and very clean. The private porch overlooking the beautiful garden is prefect for our morning coffee and evening cocktail. The short walk Into town to good dining is perfect after a long day at the beach.

My wife and I enjoyed a few days of R&R. Richard is a fabulous host and the property is immaculate. Great accommodations. The property and grounds reminded us of Southern hospitality and ambiance while the twist came from all of Richard's wonderful artwork. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed in Milton to explore the surrounding area. We found the Charleston of Milton Inn, and were immediately charmed by the photos. The reality exceeded our expectations. Richard was a wonderful host, and it’s clear to the see the care and attention that has been put into the inn. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, and we hated to leave! If your travels ever take you to Milton, I cannot recommend this inn enough!

This was by far the best place that we have stayed! This was definitely a hidden gem, Milton is a nice little town, everyone was very friendly. Many restaurants within walking distance Richard was the best host! We are already planning to visit next summer.

I am thrilled to have found this gem of a place in a wonderful little town. Such a great vibe here! The rooms here are top notch, high quality and decorated very well. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The host was fabulous! The restaurants and cafes were delightful. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay that is off the beaten path and close to so many fun activities then look no further than The Charleston! My wife and I stayed here for the first time and it was amazing! The room was gorgeous and the ambiance was calming and gave you a good beach vibe. It was 30 minutes from many different beaches and within walking distance to ice cream and good food!!

We were delighted to stay at The Charleston of Milton Inn. It is a beautifully appointed gem with close proximity to all the area offers. It was a pleasure meeting our host, Richard, who thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We could tell immediately that a lot of passion went into creating the inn and developing the incredible gardens, which we enjoyed each morning while sipping hot tea from our own balcony. It was a relaxing and refreshing trip. Just what we needed. Thank you, Richard, for an outstanding experience!

We loved loved loved our stay in this stunning home. We stayed in the King Charles suite, which was equipped with everything we needed. The private balcony was the perfect spot to sip wine at the end of a long day. The sheets were so nice and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again!

We loved our stay at this inn— old world comfort and charm with modern luxury and hospitality—beautifully and thoughtfully appointed rooms, with just the right amenities—coffee and tea, luxe hotel bathrobes, ironed sheets, and the vintage candy dish. Immediately walking in, Richard was kind and attentive and had such a warmth about him, it made the property feel like home—it was extremely clean, and Richard went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcome throughout our stay. It was close to Lewes and Rehoboth, and Milton was a great town with amazing locals and good eats and brews. Cannot recommend this enough—it’s a beautiful getaway and perhaps the nicest place I’ve ever stayed!

The home is beautiful. Richard had every accommodation you could think of. We felt very special and the design of the home was perfect for our getaway. The Charleston at Milton Inn offered wonderful stay. It was very clean, in a wonderful location. Just all the expected things well: easily accessible parking, check-in, clean linens. But it’s really the details that elevated the stay. There was wonderful landscaping, hotel level bedding, beautiful decor and a kind host. Book without hesitancy.
