"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. "Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."
