There are a lot of stairs and they are a bit uneven so be careful if not too steady on your feet. "The hotel is in an excellent position near the town centre but with an easy to access large car park. The staff are unassuming and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food and wines were excellent. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable with attractive traditional furnishings and immaculate en suites.
