"The bedroom was a beautiful room but a bit tired but it seems the rooms are being updated,the en suite had been already.What makes The Old Ship Aground stand out head and shoulders are the staff,every single member of staff was delightful,they were happy and took an interest in each guest,never experienced it anywhere before. "The staff were absolutely excellent with warmth and helpfulness throughout. The building is old and so the hotel isn’t modern but it is charming. Food was excellent and the bar pleasant and comfortable. The leisure facilities were lovely. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful stay. "
