"Lovely stay - as a first time visitor to Japan, it was great to have a night at some more traditional lodging. Iwaso was beautiful and the service excellent. "Staying at Kawaguchi was a wonderful experience. The innkeeper lady was very helpful in explaining everything and pointing us to good restaurants and giving general directions around the town. The room was surprisingly large with additional space for two in the loft. Tea and cookies provided in the room. Kimonos to wear around were a nice touch. We enjoyed the ofuro (onsen bath)."
