"Not a large room but very pleasant decor. Quite well located and even though room faced the main street it was not noisy. The light on the exit sign in the room was surprisingly bright. Parking as usual in Spanish cities was problem though since their car park had no spaces remaining."

"We arrived in the middle of a major "El Cid" medieval festival in Burgos. The city was amazing, especially Burgos Cathedral. The hotel location was perfect, eventhough there was a street party well into the early morning. I cannot compliment the Horel Receptionist. She was very helpful and courteous ... 5 srars out of 5."

"We stayed 2 nights in Covarrubias. We originally planned to use the town as a base to explore the surrounds, but were enchanted by the charm of the town and didn’t leave during our stay. Cafes open around 10am and it’s easy to while away a day slowly exploring the streets, stopping for a coffee, wine or beer at regular intervals and having a lay siesta."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this Burgos property. We were a group of 5 and were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the garage was a real plus. The neighbourhood is great; a wonderful coffee shop for breakfast nearby and supermarket just 2 streets away. Our Spanish is terrible but the owner’s English speaking young son was on hand to greet us and get us settled. There is no wifi which is a drawback. Despite that we would definitely recommend."

"This apartment has the perfect location for the impressive city of Burgos. It is close to all cultural sites. The apartment is very quiet, clean and the owners respond to all questions. We didn't find a free parking space but parked in the nearby garage."

"Basic but comfortable room with en-suite bathroom. The room stayed warm throughout the night, which was necessary given the temperatures outside dropped to -5°c during my stay. "after a whole day of traveling, exhausted . all i needed is a nice clean comfortable place to rest and sleep . This hotel delivered that exceedingly with a welcoming friendly informative staff, a spacious very clean room with balcony, and free parking. Its a bit far from the center of old town approx 2 miles but if you have a bike or car no problem . "
