Welcome to Blue Wren (when you stay at this house you will understand the name)

A cosy home away from home with everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area is downstairs and has a cosy woodfire and reverse cycle air conditioner. The floor to ceiling windows in the living area look out to a lovely courtyard with native plants which attract loads of native birds - including blue wrens!

The upstairs area has the master bedroom with a queen bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 sets of bunks. There is one bathroom and 2 toilets. Moggs Creek Beach is a 5-6 minute flat walk away. The coffee machine is a Nespresso Mini - please BYO pods.

Blue Wren is well equipped with WiFi and streaming services (Netflix and Stan) for your entertainment.

Linen Supplied for any new bookings as of 27 February, 2025.

Firewood is only supplied from May to October.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Peaceful hideaway
Lovely relaxing feel about the place. A perfect hideaway with well equiped kitchen, cosy wood heater with plenty of wood and great entertainment package including tv with lots of streaming options. Great walks with some close and others a short drive away. Loved it all!

Great property, In need of maintenance
On the whole the property did not live up to its advertisement. We did enjoy our stay, the location is great but there are things in need of improvement. There was no access to Normal tv, Stan Or Disney Plus as advertised which made it unpopular with the kids. The main room bed and mattress is in terrible need of replacement. The shower head in shower is the worst I have experienced whilst in accommodation. Other than that I loved it !

Nice bush & beach retreat
Lovely little house that provided a much needed break from the city. Very well appointed kitchen and entertainment (just look for the audio visual button in the kitchen to turn entertainment on - took us a while to find it). Loads of games for the kids.

Clean house in bush setting close to forest.
A Nice, clean and organised house 6 min walk from the beach set in a pretty bush garden , but best to know in advance there is no wifi,very poor phone converage and no tv .
