"It's hard to describe the style of this new(ish) build which actually looks quite old. Gothic, European? Who knows. It's quite different to anything we've stayed in before. Lovely outlook and very peaceful and surrounded by trees - isolated but not too far from Sheffield. Our first reaction was how dark it was inside but once the blinds were fully lifted things improved although still not as light as we normally like and we found the lounge area quite solidly furnished - no fripperies or...

"Our Minnow Cabin was an eclectic and beautiful space. The wood work in the cabin is lovingly created and maintained. The whole cabin was very clean. With a full kitchen and very comfortable armchairs, it was a great place. The bathroom is tiny but the water is strong and hot. Its up some beautiful stone steps, definitely need the light at night. Also be aware there is NO signal for phone or laptop - if you need maps, make sure you save them offline or print them before going. We loved it...

"We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. "The domes were a unique accommodation experience. Having the availability of the fire was awesome as it was quite chilly at night. The view was beautiful - as you opened the drapes in the morning, the sun was shining and the mountains were there. Loved, loved!! The outside tub was fantastic. Guests can access the lodge at any time. Dave and Matt were awesome hosts and very accommodating in any/all our requests!! : ) Totally recommend this spot!"

"Our room was lovely, the dining room had awesome food and the breakfast was huge. We had a fantastic sitting room next door to our room with a fireplace that was comfortable and peaceful when it was raining outside. The art gallery was very interesting and it wasnt far to Cradle Mountain. Can really recommend this place. "
