"Amazing view from the room (even tho it was mountain side - still able to see a bit of sea view). Spacious clean room and looked newly renovated. Free shuttle bus service available between Toba station and hotel. Hotel breakfast was delicious. Service was awesome as well! Was taking photos at the exterior lobby deck and a friendly staff came running out and offered to take photos for us. Would stay here again if I visit Toba again! "

"Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

"Nice resort. Bikes for use. Lovely hot spa. Pool wasnt opened. We visited in off season so only the buffet restaurant open. Would have liked just a drink and a snack. Im sure plenty available during peak season. Nothing else in the area. Walked on the beach. A lot of rubbish had washed up from the sea. Overall a bit disappointing."

"Good value. Perfect for family vacation (5 in our family). We arrived late (7PM) called ahead and staff welcomed us. Free on site parking. They don't speak English but are friendly. Room was non smoking and had no odor. But smoking is allowed in the hallways. In room bath is clean but old. After checking in, found Kura Sushi (kaiten style-inexpensive) 4 minutes walk! After dinner we tried the onsen bath at the hotel. Men's level was clean but women's level was a bit dirty. Next morning, girls...

"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. "As previous guests note, twenty five minutes from Toba station. As such, no restaurants or stores aside from in the hotel, but plenty of beautiful scenery. I didn’t have the dinner option due to price and instead brought take out from the local food shop (Marche) near the station, but fully enjoyed the lavish spread of fresh foods (fruits and veggies, too) and view of the bay. My room was spacious and new (532) and the indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi were well-maintained and I could do laps...
