"This property is a little gem 2 1/2 blocks from the ocean. The rates were very reasonable for a January visit. The entire place was very clean, with beautiful planters along the drive area, little seating area outside the rooms. My room had a portable fireplace but I believe many of the rooms have built-in fire places. It appears that this was an older business that has been very tastefully updated. Breakfast is available in the lobby . The lobby is small and it is best to take it back to your room. During the warmer months there is outside seating and fireplace on a patio. Service was excellent. Highly recommend staying here."

"We stayed in one of the cabins. Very simplistic furnishings but plenty of room and very clean. It was quiet but for the heater which came on and off fairly frequently. Took us a bit to get accustomed to it but didn’t keep us awake. Parking tight at the door! Staff very friendly!"

"We had our high school mini reunion (6 individuals) and we booked a suite to accommodate all of us. A little small but we had 3 beds for the 6 of us comfortably to rest the night. We asked for extra towels, bedsheets and pillows which was provided at a reasonable time. "

"We have stayed at the Sand Castle Inn several times. The Room is always clean, the staff friendly. Walking distance to the Beach. We use to go to other Inns occasionally, but now the Sand Castle Inn is our “go to” place when we visit Seaside."
