Independent hotels in Moorea, Moorea-Maiao

"We booked this hotel as it was close to the port, and we were extending our cruise for one night. When they say 'rooms available after 3', that's exactly what they mean. We arrived about 1:30, and was told repeatedly, "it'll just be about 15 minutes" .... each time I asked! We got to our room about 3:15. The ONE and only elevator serves all 8 floors (top two are the dining room and then the rooftop bar). It holds 6 people, not counting luggage (sign says 8 but no way!). Be mindful of peak times...

"This is a very nice hotel and perfect for late night or early morning flights. We had a nice room for 3 people that had two sleeping areas separated a bit, two toilets, and two showers. The staff we met were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful in helping us figure out the ferries. It was clean, the ac worked and we didn’t see any bugs. "
