There are some updates that need to be done but nothing that hinders your stay by any means. The heater is actually a heat pump which did not keep us warm so we absolutely froze! We had it set on 69 and woke up to a freezing 63 in the cabin our last morning. We do know how to work the thermostat so that wasnt the issue.
